The appointment

What actually happens

1. Consultation. How subtle or how defined you want it, and whether the shape should stay tight to the lash line or extend.

2. Mapping. The line is drawn on and checked with your eyes both open and closed, because the two look very different.

3. Application. Worked along the lash line in light passes, checking symmetry between the eyes as it builds.

4. Final check. Both eyes are compared open and closed, and you leave with aftercare instructions.

Plan for approximately 2 hours in the studio. A free 30-minute consultation can also be booked on its own.

Expectations

What the result looks like, honestly

The area looks sharper and darker immediately afterwards, and some swelling around the eye in the first day or two is normal. The healed result is softer than it looks on the day.

A lash enhancement is deliberately hard to see as makeup — that is the point of it. If you want something visible from a distance, that is a different conversation and should happen at the consultation.

Real work
